Symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis

Fishy Vaginal Odor: Initially the smell is subtle but in the matter of days the smell will become strong enough that it will make yourself conscious and will start impacting your personal relationship.

Vaginal Discharge: The discharge is white grey in color and often has a fishy smell .The smell may be most noticeable when having sex.

Vaginal itching: Not common but a BV sufferer may have vaginal itching.

Sometimes Bacterial Vaginosis is confused with yeast infection.Although the symptoms of yeast infection are completely different from Bacterial vaginosis.

Symptoms of Yeast infection

The most common symptom of a yeast infection is extreme itchiness in and around the vagina. Other symptom may include

Pain during intercourse and/or when passing urine.

Thick, white vaginal discharge that looks like cottage cheese and does not have a bad smell.
